Goals
The project "StudiPortal Brandenburg" aims at an innovative
cross-university linking of online offers for study orientation,
preparation and support with already established counseling and
information tools of the universities on an online portal. In contrast
to the descriptive character of existing online representations of
Brandenburg's study offerings, the planned portal will offer potential
students with vocational and school qualifications a structured
overview of Brandenburg's diverse study offerings and at the same time
refer them to offerings for study orientation, preparation and
support. To this end, the cross-university interest test is to be
linked to the existing and new online offerings of the participating
universities. In this way, the entire range of information can be
pre-filtered on the basis of the individual interests of the users,
enabling a person-centered use of the subject tests, OSAs and
e-learning units related to the study program or field of study, and
additionally providing individualized references to offline counseling
services. While the integration of the Study Orientation Network,
which bundles university activities for study orientation in the state
of Brandenburg, allows significant expertise to flow into the project
work in terms of directly addressing target groups, the addition of
the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF completes the partner
structure in terms of a state-wide university portal.
